Who we are
TownPilot ("we", "us") is a marketing service for local businesses, run by Samuel Alzate. Website: townpilot.app. Contact: hello@townpilot.app.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you request a free audit, email us or message us on social media, we receive the details you include, such as your name, business name, city, phone number and email.
- Your city from an ad link. Some of our ads link to this site with a city in the address (for example, ?city=Boston) so the page can say "in Boston". We read it in your browser to personalize the page and we do not store it.
- Basic technical data. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and font provider (Google Fonts) receive standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type when the page loads, to deliver the site securely.
The audit form does not store anything on this website: it opens your own email app with your request written out, and nothing is sent until you press send.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies and does not use advertising pixels or analytics. If we add tools such as the Meta Pixel or website analytics in the future, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before they run.
How we use it
- To reply to you, run your free audit and send you a proposal.
- If you become a client, to deliver our services and send invoices and reports.
We do not sell or rent your information. We do not send you marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Phone calls and text messages
If you give us your phone number, we will only call or text you about your audit request or the services you hired us for. We will never add you to automated marketing texts without your separate, written consent, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run the business (for example, our email and hosting providers), and only as needed. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Client accounts
When we manage ads or social media for a client, we work inside the client's own accounts (such as Meta Business Suite) with the access the client gives us. The client stays the owner of those accounts and their data, and can remove our access at any time.
How long we keep it
Audit requests that don't become clients are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept as long as needed for the work and for tax and legal records.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we have about you. Email hello@townpilot.app and we will reply within 30 days.
Security
This website is a static site served over HTTPS. It has no user accounts or database, and it does not store your information. We protect our business accounts with two-factor authentication.
Your state privacy rights
Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have extra rights, such as knowing what information we have about you and asking us to delete it. We honor these requests for everyone, wherever you live. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising.
Accessibility
We want this site to be usable by everyone. If anything is hard to read or use, email hello@townpilot.app and we will help and fix it.
Children
This site is for business owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
