Terms of Service
Last updated: November 5, 2026
1. Who these terms are between
These terms apply to your use of townpilot.app and to services provided by TownPilot ("we", "us"), run by Samuel Alzate, to a business that hires us ("you").
2. Services
The exact services, deliverables and monthly fee are set out in the proposal you accept (your "Flight Plan"). Anything not listed in it is not included and can be quoted separately.
3. Fees and payment
- Our monthly fee is billed at the start of each month and is due before work for that month begins.
- Advertising spend is separate. Your ad budget is paid by you directly to the ad platform (for example, Meta) and is never part of our fee.
- If a payment is more than 10 days late, we may pause the work until it is paid.
4. Term and cancellation
Unless your Flight Plan says otherwise, the first term is 3 months. After that, the service continues month to month and either side can cancel with 30 days' written notice (email is fine). Fees already paid are not refundable.
5. Your accounts and content
- You keep ownership of your pages, ad accounts, website and data. You give us the access we need and can remove it at any time.
- Once paid for, the posts, ads and videos we create for you are yours to use.
- You confirm you have the rights to any photos, logos or material you send us to use.
- You are responsible for the products, services, prices and claims of your business. We will not publish claims we believe are false or misleading.
6. Approvals
We will not launch new campaigns or change your ad budget without your approval.
7. No guaranteed results
We commit to doing the agreed work carefully and on time and reporting honestly on the results. Advertising and social media results depend on many factors outside our control, including the ad platforms' own rules and decisions, so we cannot guarantee a specific number of leads, sales or followers.
8. Third-party platforms
Our work relies on platforms such as Meta, Google and others. We are not responsible for their outages, policy changes, ad rejections or account decisions, but we will help you resolve them.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits.
10. Confidentiality
We keep your business information and account access private and use it only to provide our services.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA.
